RECOVERY IS KEY TO SANITY

I can't believe, the road season is over. It's been such a whirlwind for the past 4 weeks, my head is still grasping the concept that I am racing Track Nationals this week. Vegas as some of you may have seen was a HUGE success as Vanderkitten won the team competition for the USA crit series. We were in second place heading into the Vegas finale, but with 4 women in the top 20 we gained enough points on Tibco to take the title for the second year in a row, yahoo!!!
I finally got a weekend day home to relax, recover and enjoy some down time. I took this photo of my downtime space for you to enjoy. I had all the necessities; the paper, coffee, water, Internet, trash magazine and great weather on my patio with birds chirping and horses stepping through the canyon. I will be racing this week in Carson CA, at Track Nationals. I will be competing in the international style omnium, team pursuit, scratch, points, and madison. It will be a big week but I am look forward to it. Wish me luck.
