Gotta tell you.... it's tough to get in to off season training when your riding in 65 degree temps in December. Wheels and I planned a mid day mid week training ride down to the coast and back last week. This is a photo from the middle of Latigo Rd. 3 miles into an 8 mile climb. Although Jenn and I train a lot on our own we try to hook up for a ride at least every other week together. Having a training partner really helps you get trough a long work week; training and the 9-5 daylighting we do for income. We're both climbing strong. Not fast....strong. Lifting weights a few days a week makes the legs sore. On top of the lifting Wheels did all the climbing in a bi gear at 50 cadence. This day we climbed 3100 feet in 32 miles and had a blast doing it.
