Back from Killer Dana

The racing season is HERE! Everyone is asking how Dana Point went, so I finally found a spare moment to give you the quick. Dana Point was a blast. A fast a technical course that suits all types of riders. Even though this promoter decided not to maintain a NRC status for the women, several top level riders gave quite the show. In addition to Vanderkitten other team racing included; Helen's who has senior ride Suzanne Sonye who rode for Saturn and Pam Schuster who last rode with Auto Trader, Corine Rivera Peanut Butter 20/12, MS NOW, Incycle and more to fill a field of 50 women. As Dana Point was still a warm up race for our new teammys we raced to win launching several attacks and a handful of solo breakaways. It was definitely the Helens vs. VK show. Helen's would launch and be brought back then VK would launch, and vise versa. VK tried to cover everything but in the end the podium went to the Juniors with Kendall Ryan winning the field sprint over Maria Lechuga (Unattached) and fellow junior Coryn Rivera Peanut Butter & Co. TWENTY 12, who finished second and third respectively. VK took 5th Anna Lang, 6th Jenn Wilson, 9th Ericka Graves. We feel good and are excited to all be back together for SpeedWeek 4/24 - 5/2. Next Race Sea Otter 4/17.
PS the photo in this shot was just something I took last night and thought I would share the view
Peace out!
