June update

June is set to be a busy month of racing. The team heads out to Tulsa Oklahoma this week to race the Tulsa Tough June 4-6. Tulsa is a fantastic event that brings one of the largest women's pelotons to the pro circuit.

June 11-12th is the American Veldrome Challenge at the Helleyer Velodrome in San Jose. This is a fantastic event for spectating and racing. Although I have not hit the track since National in October, this will be a fantastic race to start my track season.

June 17-19 is the Tour de Nez in Truckee CA at the Northstar Resort. The Nez is an omnium event with a ITT and 2 circuit races.

June 20 - Nevada City Grand Prix. I did this race about 5 or 6 years ago and it was one of the toughest circuit races I have ever done.

I am a guest radio personality on Bike Sport Radio on Mondays at 12:00. Brad House is the host of the show. The show covers bike racing, results, safety and other bike stuff. It's pretty fun to listen too. You can find them on facebook or at KillRadio.org

Photo: Banana Slug of Santa Cruz. Since moving here in January this is my second sighting. Seems that I only see one on a damp day when I am in teh mist of a hellish climb.

With a busy June, I'll be bloggin' lots... stay tuned!
