What a difference a day makes. When I went home last night I was sluggish and distraught that was still not a 100%, I had to rest. After a good night sleep, I felt a bit groggy this morning but by mid morning I was feeling so much better. I did much better multi-tasking today and was happy and motivated to challenge my skills. My co workers said they could see me feeling better by my eyes. I worked well through the day and hit a massage at lunch. As I was considering my weekend plans... i.e. a little mountain bike ride, the Doc calls to see how I was doing. I told him how much better I was feeling and was considering a weekend full of activities. Not so fast he tells me, you still need time to heal. I thought he was crazy, I have felt worse than this on better days. We talked about a hike or other activities that would be less jarring on the head.
As I sit here finishing up my work day I think he may be right. I am getting a bit of a head ache and feeling tired. I want to go home and close my eyes and listen to a movie.
This is a photo of Megan Hottman's bike. I hit her front wheel at full speed.
