Well, I just finished up the dinner of champions tonight, corn chips topped with cottage cheese, with a side of peanut butter puffins and beer, and thought I would take a moment to catch up on the blog to tell ya'll the haps from last week. Besides for the usual, work, ride, eat, sleep, I had another epic weekend of mountain biking. I'm addicted to the thrill of the terrain and hitting the next jump, I think I am becoming a bit of a junkie. Me and the posse hit Demo on Saturday completing a partial mega;
Ridge, Sawpit, Tractor, Braille. I'm calling it the patial mega because Superbowl Sunday we're completing the Superbowl MEGA; Corral, Sulpher, SawPit, Tractor, Braille.
Saturday was so much fun we decided to ride again on Sunday. I'm so glad I did too. I hit 3 new jumps that I wouldn't ride 2 months ago. After 3 hours on the mountain bike on Sunday, I rode the road bike 1/5 hours home. I know, some of you might think it's a bit crazy to follow up an afternoon of mountain biking with a
90 minute road ride, but I was feeling invincible after such a great two days on the mountain bike.
Not much more to report. I am looking forward to Vanderkitten team camp February 25th - 27th and seeing all my teammy's.
